01Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using uLinkQR ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and [YOUR LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("Company", "we", "us"), a company registered under the laws of India.

02Description of Service

uLinkQR provides a QR-code based notification service that allows registered users ("Owners") to receive alerts when their tagged items are scanned by third parties ("Reporters"). The Service includes:

  • QR code generation and tag management
  • Push notification delivery
  • Masked calling via WebRTC
  • Quick reply messaging

⚠️ uLinkQR is a notification and communication tool only. We are not a law enforcement agency and cannot guarantee the recovery of lost or stolen items.

03Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service
  • You must have a valid Indian mobile number for OTP verification
  • You must not be barred from using the Service under any applicable law

04Account & Registration

  • Accounts are created using OTP verification via your mobile number
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must not share your account or allow others to use it
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@ulinkqr.com
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice

05Subscriptions & Billing

Free Plan: All features are free to use with no limits.

  • Billed in advance via PhonePe Payment Gateway
  • Subscriptions do not auto-renew unless you explicitly enable auto-renewal
  • Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

06Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Service to harass, stalk, or threaten any person
  • Tag items you do not own or have authority over
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent alerts
  • Attempt to identify or contact another user outside the platform
  • Use the Service for commercial surveillance or tracking without consent

07Prohibited Conduct

🚫 Strictly prohibited: Reverse engineering the app, scraping data, creating fake accounts, attempting to bypass security measures, or using automated bots to scan QR codes. Violation may result in permanent ban and legal action.

08Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, and design of uLinkQR are the exclusive property of [YOUR LEGAL ENTITY NAME] and protected under Indian copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

By uploading content (e.g. tag descriptions), you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it to operate the Service.

09Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee that alerts will be delivered within any specific time
  • We are not responsible for the actions of Reporters who scan your QR
  • We do not guarantee item recovery or prevention of theft
  • Service availability may be interrupted for maintenance

11Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Indian law, [YOUR LEGAL ENTITY NAME] shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of property or data.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless [YOUR LEGAL ENTITY NAME], its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

13Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account
  • We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms without notice
  • On termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases
  • Sections 8, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination

14Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [YOUR CITY, STATE], India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for 30 days. You may also raise consumer complaints on the National Consumer Helpline.

15Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via push notification or email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
